Public Access TV looking for game show contestants

Public Access Television Channel 18 is seeking contestants for their game show “The Smartest Iowan.”
Emily Ashenfelter, of Public Access Television Inc., said the contest is a weekly, cognitive battle for participants.
“Contestants mentally battle it out with questions covering topics ranging from Iowa history and current events to pop culture and weird science,” she said.
Viewers will have a chance to participate and earn a spot as an actual contestant by applying online. Those interested can click on the green, corn pictured “Smartest Iowan” icon and submit their information.
The show airs live every Wednesday at 8 p.m. on Channel 18.
