Ruby Sparks, 62, of Vinton, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017, at home surrounded by her loving family. A visitation will be Friday, March 3, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids.
Ruby was born March 21, 1954, the daughter of Curtis and Geraldine (Parks) Sparks. Ruby's greatest joy in life was spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Garland; and a sister, Anna Mae.
Left to cherish Ruby's memories are her children, Jennifer Towns and Jody (Devin) Bilsland; grandchildren, Hannah, Cooper, Donovan and Gillian; two brothers, Wayne (Micki) and Rex (Patty); and a sister, Mary.
A memorial fund has been established.
