Groenenboom, John E.
John E. Groenenboom, 44, died Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010, at his home following a sudden illness. Memorial services will be 2 p. m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Church in Chelsea with the Rev. Charles Johnson presiding. Inurnment will be at a later date. There will be no visitation before the service but there will be a gathering at the Chelsea Community Hall following the service.
He is survived by his wife, Beth; daughters, Sabrina, a freshman at Iowa State, and Heidi, at home; and brothers, Pat (Dino) Garrett of Cameron, Mo., and Tim (Melissa) Groenenboom of Phoenix, Ariz.
A memorial fund has been established.
