McEachron, Dr. Joseph Thomas
Dr. Joseph Thomas McEachron, 80, of Olympia, Wash., formerly of Cedar Rapids, passed away peacefully early in the morning of Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2010, at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, with his wife, Marilyn, daughter Melissa and son John by his side. Funeral Mass will be 9 a.m. today at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Lacey, Wash. Burial will be at a later date at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Fairfax.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn (Flaherty) McEachron; daughter, Melissa McEachron; and son, John McEachron.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Gladys McEachron; brothers, Jack and Thomas McEachron; and sister, Veronica Mull.
Dr. Joe was born in 1930 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He married Marilyn in 1952. After graduating with honors from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1959, he moved to Washington state, where he raised his family and practiced for 42 years.
Dr. Joe spent his time in this world loving his family and friends (many of whom were his patients), practicing chiropractic, and enjoying all aspects of sports. He was known for his great sense of humor with his many jokes and stories.
He will be missed by all he touched.
