Michael David Kelley, 56, of Godley, Texas, formerly of Cedar Rapids, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Jan. 25, 2014. Memorial services and burial will be in Wapello Cemetery, Wapello, Iowa, at a later date. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, is assisting the family with local arrangements.
Michael was born in Fort Worth, Texas, the son of Judith and Merle Kelley Sr.
Michael is survived by his three children, Kathy, Joshua (Sarah) and Robin (Robert); 10 grandchildren; his mother, Judith Kelley of Cedar Rapids; brothers, Richard of Cedar Rapids and Merle Jr. (Nadana) of North Liberty; sister, Pebble (Victor) of Cedar Rapids; and his lifetime partner, Janice Plott of Godley, Texas.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Merle Kelley Sr.
