Rybarczyk, Connie

Connie Rybarczyk, 65, of Coralville, died peacefully Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011, at Mercy Hospital of a recurring battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Lensing's Oak Hill, 210 Holiday Rd., Coralville, with Father Michael Phillips officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Mercy Hospital Foundation.

Connie was born Jan. 11, 1946, in Breckenridge, Mich., the daughter of Kermit and Dorothy Curtis Scholl. She received her degree in cosmetology from Ferris State College. On Sept. 17, 1966, Connie married Ken Rybarczyk in Chicago.

Connie was employed as a pharmacy assistant and clerk at Osco Drug.

She loved to travel, especially to Las Vegas.

Connie is survived by her loving husband, Ken and their son, Matt (Annette) Rybarczyk of LeClaire; one granddaughter, Daniela; her sister, Karen Cooper of Mount Pleasant, Mich.; and extended family.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Phil.
