LaVonne Marie Schultze, 90, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Yankton, S.D., died Sunday, April 13, 2014, in the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy. Services: 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Yankton, S.D., with Pastor Dave Lund officiating. A memorial service will be held in Cedar Rapids at a later date.
Survivors include her children, son, Bob Schultze and his wife, Kay, daughter, Terri Gorsett and her husband, Mike, and daughter, Jackie Thompson and husband Dan; eight grandchildren including Nick Schultze; 10 great-grandchildren; and her special dog, Micky.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenny in 1996.
