Rinner, M. Deane
M. Deane Rinner, husband, father and grandfather, died at home on May 11, 2012, in DeBary, Fla. He was 85.
A native of Wayland, Iowa, and formerly of Cedar Rapids, Deane served with the Army in Africa in World War II, and assisted with UN programs to deliver livestock to Korea in the early 1950s. A graduate of Iowa State University, he held various positions with Wilson Foods for 35 years and retired from Oklahoma City to Florida in 1993.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; daughter, Kim, and son, Rick (Linda), all of Florida; son, Rob of Dallas; and five grandchildren, Emily of Ann Arbor, Mich., Dr. Amy Rinner in Denver, Doug and Lindsay of Florida and Kristen of Brentwood, Tenn.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 19, at Markham Woods Presbyterian Church in Lake Mary, Fla.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Markham Woods Presbyterian Church, the American Heart Association or a charity of your choice.
