Graham, Helen M.
Helen M. Graham, 94, of Iowa City, died at her home Friday, July 24, 2009, with her sister at her side. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Iowa City. Visitation will be from noon until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial donations can be made in her memory to American Cancer Society or Hospice Compassus.

Helen Marie Bulechek was born May 27, 1915, in rural Johnson County, the daughter of Frank and Ella (Rouner) Bulechek. She graduated from University High School in 1934 and had attended the University of Iowa. For a number of years she worked in the dietary kitchen at University of Iowa Hospitals. On Feb. 5, 1951, she married Roy Graham in Iowa City. The couple farmed near Iowa City for many years. Roy died in 1994, and Helen later moved into town after his death. On the farm Helen was a part of the Lincoln Township Club, and she enjoyed the many activities through the Friends Club at Hills Bank & Trust.
Her family includes her sister, Dorothy Stinocher of Brighton; and three nephews and their families, Lyle Stinocher of Tallahassee, Fla., David Stinocher of Mankato, Minn., and Carl Stinocher of Bozeman, Mont.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a brother, Joseph Bulechek.
