Donald Dale Rhodes, 77, of Forney, Texas, formerly of Center Point, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2014.
Don was born in Ramsey, Ill., on Oct. 24, 1936, to the late Glen and Josie Rhodes. He married Janette Cress on Aug. 21, 1970.
He retired from Enos Bros Construction in 2006 and enjoyed fishing and camping in his spare time.
Don is survived by his wife and children, Randy, Bret (Julie) of Hiawatha, Brian of Cedar Rapids and JaDon (Roger) of Forney, Texas.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Dustin, Amanda, Breana, Jannah and Cameron; siblings, Florence, Nelvin, Ada and Teddy; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by siblings, Clyde, Oral, Earl, Lenora, Darrell, Freida, Betty Wuanita, Nancy and Jerry.
Services will be held at a later date in Center Point.
