Myers, Carrie A. Miehe
Carrie A. Miehe Myers, 51, of Elkader, died Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at the Elkader Care Center. Mass of Christian Burial: 11 a.m. Friday, June 3, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Elkader, with the Very Rev. Paul R. Peters as celebrant. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. until mass time Friday at the church.
Survivors include her parents, Jim and Mary Jane Miehe of Elkader; her sister, Jane (Dr. Merle) Kuennen of Elkader; niece, Mary Ann (Omar) Kilany of Durham, N.C.; nephew, Dr. Nick Kuennen of Chicago; great-nephew, Stephen Kilany of Durham, N.C.; and many friends.
Leonard Funeral Home in Elkader is in charge of arrangements.
