Food waste truck overturns near Stone City
A truck owned by Endres Services overturned late Wednesday afternoon on County Road X-28 at the sharp Stone City curve, requiring a recovery operation that blocked traffic for more than two hours and a diesel fuel cleanup.
Endres Services operates a factory in rural Linn County that converts food waste into livestock feeds.
Nobody was injured in the accident, which was handled by the Jones County Sheriff's Department and the Anamosa Fire Department.
