Heitman, LaVonne
LaVonne Heitman, 86, died Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at Marengo Memorial Hospital following a sudden illness. Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 27, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Marengo, with Father Joseph Roost officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. today at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, with a vigil service at 6 p.m.
She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Milton G. Heitman; her children, Angela Heitman of Maquoketa, George Heitman of Altoona, Susan Fultz and husband Terry of Ames, Stephanie Heitman and fiance Raynard Manning of Iowa City, Leon Heitman and wife Joni of Cedar Rapids, Dwight Heitman and wife Denise of Marengo, Mary Pat Heitman and partner Pat Coyle of Iowa City, and Renee Drost and husband Don of Pella; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 11 siblings.
A memorial fund has been established.
