Reckling, Milton H. 'Milt'
Milton H. “Milt” Reckling of Mount Vernon, born May 31, 1927, died June 26, 2012, at the age of 85 in the Solon Care Center. Celebration of Life service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Mount Vernon United Methodist Church, with military honors to follow. A light luncheon will be served after the celebration. Visitation for Milt will be Saturday from 9 a.m. until service time at the church. Milt donated his body to The Deeded Body Program at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
Milt is survived by his wife, Ruth, Mount Vernon; five children; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one brother, Donald and wife Elaine; two sisters-in-law, Edna Reckling and Ruby Zabel; and many nieces and nephews.
