Milton C. Gonzales, 84, of Oelwein, died Saturday afternoon, July 28, 2012, at Mercy Living Plus in Oelwein. Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Oelwein. Visitation: 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, Oelwein, where there will be a parish Scripture service at 7 p.m. Interment: Woodlawn Cemetery, Oelwein, Iowa. Military graveside rites by the Oelwein American Legion Ross Reid Post #9.

Milt is survived by three daughters, Lana (David) Ayers of Lander, Wyoming, Debbie (Bob) Weber and Ellie (Troy) Kueker. both of Oelwein; eight grandchildren: 15 great-grandchildren; a brother, Rueben (Betty) Gonzales of Oelwein; and a sister, Lily Batterson of Oelwein.

Milt was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Margie on Nov. 19, 19; two brothers, Carl and Rudolph; and a sister, Mardelle.
