Border, Evelyn E.
Evelyn E. Border, 73, of Belle Plaine, died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids following a brief illness. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, at First Lutheran Church by Pastor Dean Duncan. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the church. Hrabak Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
She is survived by her husband, Carroll; son, Bruce Border of Tucson, Ariz.; daughters, Carolyn (Jim) Kurovski and Deborah (John) Thys, both of Belle Plaine; brothers, Roger (Barb) Woodworth of Hudson, Fla., Harold (Norma) Woodworth of Tama, Ron (Cheryl) Woodworth of Sherman, Texas and Kenneth (Maxine) Woodworth of Haysville, Kan.; sister, Ramona Kuyrkendall of San Antonio, Texas; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a baby daughter, her parents, two brothers, and one sister.
A memorial fund has been established.
