Milton Leonard Aucoin Jr., 84, born Feb. 21, 1933, went to meet the Lord on April 27, 2017.
Milton was preceded in death by his wife, Rita Joyce Aucoin; and his parents, Milton Leonard Aucoin Sr. and Rosemary Aucoin.
He is survived by his two children, Carolyn and Christopher; three grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and his brother, James Aucoin.
Milton was born in Norco, La., and later his family moved to Sulphur. He graduated from LSU in 1955. He served in the Presidential Honor Guard while in the Army. In his career, he was an executive at Sanger Harris in Dallas, Texas, responsible for home furnishings and accessories for all stores. Later, he became an executive at Smulekoff's in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. As a founding member of All Saints Catholic Church in Dallas, Milton was very active with the interior design of the church.
Milton loved his family very much and spent his entire life in support of his family. After his wife, Rita Joyce, passed in October 2016, he was very grateful toward the dedicated family members, friends and caregivers who visited, comforted and cared for him in the final months of his life.
