City more concerned about camera revenues

To the editor:
It seems the city is finally admitting that the red light and speed cameras are for making money, not for making driving safer.
If the goal is safety, the city would be saying that traffic accidents and deaths would increase. Instead, all they are complaining about is how much money the city stands to lose.
When you lose $2 million, you do a lot of complaining.
