St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., is one of the nation's top prep football programs. Just check out the program's Web site.
Iowa had a very productive wide receiver named Maurice Brown several years ago. He is an Aquinas grad.
Last year, 13 Aquinas seniors signed national letters of intent, eight to schools in BCS conferences.
Wednesday night, Aquinas senior-to-be quarterback Jake Rudock gave a verbal commitment to Iowa. Last year, Rudock passed for 1,945 yards and 34 touchdowns.
Here is the Miami Herald's report on Rudock joining the Hawkeyes.
