Elizabeth A. Becicka, 69, of Hiawatha, died Monday, Dec. 29, 2014, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Per Elizabeth's wishes, there will be no services. Private inurnment will take place at Cedar Memorial Park Mausoleum, Cedar Rapids.
Elizabeth was born Aug. 18, 1945, in Elmo, Mo., the daughter of Henry and Inez (Nasinec) Crane. She was united in marriage to Thomas Becicka on Nov. 3, 1971. She had worked at Cargill Inc. as a controller from 1972 until her retirement in 2002.
Elizabeth is survived by five brothers and two sisters.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 2012, her parents and one brother.
Memorials in Elizabeth's name may be directed to the Hiawatha Public Library or Cedar Valley Humane Society.
