Feb. 20, 2010 11:03 pm
The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders scored three times on the power play Saturday night and rolled to a 5-2 win over USA Hockey's U17 team in Ann Arbor, Mich. It was the second win in as many nights for Cedar Rapids over Team USA and was the 11th in 12 games for the Riders.
Goals from Cason Hohmann, David Boehm and Peter Sakaris negated an early deficit and gave the RoughRiders a 3-1 lead after a period. Boehm's goal was on the man advantage.
Zach Lehrke and Jayson Megna scored power-play goals in the second period for the final margin. Troy Grosenick picked up the win in net, making 18 saves.
Cedar Rapids had 49 shots on goal.
Eric Robinson had two assists for the Riders, who return home for two games next weekend.
