Alliant customers shouldn't be asked to pay more

I find it disgusting that Alliant Energy has the gall after all the hoopla on the huge supply of natural gas to ask (expected May 25) for a rate increase.
The price on the market has gone down and the winter usage was down, so why are we being asked to pay more?
