Jim and Susie DeSmet, of Victor, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on April 17, 2021. The couple was married at St. Patrick Church in Brooklyn. They are the parents of Chris (Julie) DeSmet of Center Point, IA, Bill (Marcie) DeSmet of Williamsburg, IA and Jen (Chris) Chikos of Blair, NE. They are the proud grandparents to eight grandchildren.
