Franklin, Alice Johanna (Hayes)
Alice Johanna (Hayes) Franklin, 94, of Washington, Iowa, died Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010, at Washington County Hospital in Washington following a brief illness. Celebration of Life services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 1, at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with Pastor Colton Clay officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington.
Alice is survived by her daughter, Nancy Jo Richardson of Washington; three grandsons, Bruce Timmins and wife Julie, Dean Timmins, and Don Timmins and wife Kimberly, all of Washington; five great- grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
Memorials have been established to PAWS and More Animal Shelter or to a charity of the donor's choice.
