Hardees hits new low in shameless advertising
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Jul. 31, 2009 12:47 am
As if Hardees was not being offensive enough using scantily clad women to advertise their goods, now we have the “balls and holes” commercials.
If their food was worth eating, they would not have to use these tactics. Sex sells.
Hardees says they are trying to win over a certain “demographic,” namely young American guys. Yes, indeed, young men. You, who think only with your penises and enjoy only juvenile, locker-room humor. Forget that many of you have college degrees. Hardees has you all nicely stereotyped.
If being lumped together as a class of perverts is OK with you, keep eating at Hardees. If not, do what I've done: Vow to never eat at Hardees again while their advertisements dehumanize people.
