Letter: Grassley is clear choice in Senate race

Iowans have a clear choice in the upcoming U.S. senatorial race.

We can elect a true fiscal conservative, Chuck Grassley, or we can elect a Democrat who has a track record of leading our Iowa State government into a devastating debt.

Every Iowan over the age of 30, remembers the Democratic Culver-Judge administration that took Iowa to nearly $1 billion in debt. Imagine what fun Patty Judge would have running up the federal debt far beyond the $20 trillion level. We cannot have this happen to us.

The choice has never been more obvious. Do you want to continue the fiscal sanity that Sen. Grassley uses or a return to the fiscal insanity Judge used in our state government?

I am voting for Grassley because I am a sane conservative. I hope you will join me supporting the honorable senator.
