Mohwinkle, Pamela Jo
Pamela Jo Mohwinkle, 59, of Hiawatha, passed away Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at her home. Funeral Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Hiawatha. The family will greet friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion. Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion.
Survivors include her husband, Gerald; her four sons, Scott (Karen) Mohwinkle of Cedar Rapids, Bradley (Sarah) Mohwinkle of Cedar Rapids, Nicholas (Mallory) Mohwinkle of Cedar Rapids and Benjamin (Danika Hilmer) Mohwinkle of Cedar Rapids; six grandchildren, Brayden, Addison, Liliana, Kyana, Josephine and Beckett; and her siblings, Jonnie Sue Wilson of Cedar Rapids, Michael Ford of Tallahassee, Fla., Tim Ford of Delhi, Dan Ford of Bettendorf and Tom Ford of Masonville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Verle and Elizabeth Ford.
Pam was born Oct. 20, 1953, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Verle and Elizabeth (McEnany) Ford. She married Gerald Mohwinkle on July 28, 1973, at St. Pius Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids. Pam worked in customer excellence at Toyota Financial in Cedar Rapids, but was recently retired.
Her greatest joy was family and friends.
As many people who came out and surrounded Pam with love and comfort, we feel comforted knowing in Heaven she will be surrounded by the same.
A memorial fund has been established in Pam's memory.
