Wilgenbusch, Helen Imelda
Helen Imelda Wilgenbusch, 86, lifelong resident of Delaware County, died Friday, May 17, 2013, at Regional Medical Center in Manchester.
Helen is survived by nine children, Judy (fiance Willard James) Martin of Cedar Rapids, David Wilgenbusch of Cedar Rapids, Charles (Paula) Wilgenbusch of Ryan, Gerald Wilgenbusch of Center Point, Joyce (David) Hoover of Carol Stream, Ill., Mark (Dee) Wilgenbusch of Charlestown, W.Va., Leon Wilgenbusch of Manchester, Margaret (Gene) Palmersheim of Greeley and Patrick Wilgenbusch of Masonville; 26 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Gib (Germaine) Goedken of Dubuque, Norma (Vernon) Brunsmann of New Vienna, Mary Lou Engelken of Bankston, Inez (Francis) Hermsen of New Vienna, Valeria Bockenstedt of New Vienna, Lavern (Patsy) Goedken of Holy Cross, Carol (Dale) Clemen of Dubuque and John (Marilyn) Goedken of Earlville; sisters-in-law, Valeria Schwers, Esther Knutson and Anna Mae Wright, all of Rockford, Ill., Sister Grace Marie Wilgenbusch of La Crosse, Wis., and Betty Wilgenbusch of Dyersville.

Mass of Christian Burial: 11 a.m. Friday, May 24, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manchester, by the Rev. Richard Gaul. Visitation: after 2 p.m. Thursday, May 23, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester, with a 2 p.m. Catholic Daughters rosary and a 7 p.m. Scripture service, and after 9:30 a.m. Friday at the church before the mass. Interment: St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Manchester.
