Winsor, Thomas 'Tom' Michael
Thomas “Tom” Michael Winsor, 62, died Wednesday, April 13, 2011, while working in Boone. The family will receive friends to honor Tom's life from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday, April 18, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, 212 E. Sixth St., Vinton, followed by committal services at Brandon Cemetery in Brandon.
Tom was born March 19, 1949, at Cedar Rapids, to Richard and Wanda (Fuller) Winsor and graduated from Washington High School in Vinton in 1968.
He had been employed by Bascom Tuckpointing Co. his entire adult life. He enjoyed collecting antiques.
He is survived by his daughter, Rachelle (Dave) Timmerman of Fairfax; his grandchildren, Kali, Paige, John and Tessa; his sister, Nancy (Bart) Flickinger of Garrison; his niece, Brooke (Chris Riffey) Salger; his nephew, Jake (Sherri) Isbell; and his loving companion, Diane Proctor, and her children, Amy (Jeff) Coffin and Krystal Elliott.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Norbert Winsor.
