Anthony “Tony” Francisco Thomas, 45, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2010, in Cedar Rapids. The family will greet friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, 1844 First Ave. NE, Cedar Rapids.
He leaves not to mourn, but to celebrate his life, his siblings, Archie (Theresa) Collier of Cedar Rapids, Arnold (Sue) Harris of Tempe, Ariz., DeMarques Thomas of Phoenix, Shedrick Elliott Jr. of Des Moines, Janice Collier of Sun City, Ariz., LaToya K. Thomas of Kansas City, Mo., Dovie Muhammad of Phoenix, Tracie L. Thomas of Cedar Rapids and Stephenia (Kenny) Thomas-Claytor of Des Moines; his stepfather, Nathanial Hart of Des Moines; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Preceding him in death were his loving mother, Margaret Hart; his father, Shedrick Russell Elliott Sr.; his grandparents, Orville and Fannie McKee; and his brother, Allen Craig Thomas.
