Elliott, Boyd
Boyd Elliott, 49, of Haverhill, Iowa, died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011, at Iowa River Hospice House after a 2-year battle with ALS. His death came peacefully in the afternoon with his loving family at his side. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, at St. Henry's Catholic Church in Marshalltown, Iowa, with Father Don Czapla officiating. He will be laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery, with a fireman's procession to gravesite. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the church.
Memorials may be directed to the ALS Foundation, Central Iowa Division of Sea Cadets or Iowa River Hospice.
