Greiner, Terry A.
Terry A. Greiner, 74, a resident of Northbrook Manor Care Center, Cedar Rapids, died there Saturday, May 22, 2010. Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 26, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, by Father John Barnes. Friends may call from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday before the service. Burial: Holy Trinity Cemetery, Keota.
Survivors include his children, Greg Greiner, Cindy Singleton, Chris Spate, Jennifer Harr and Jeff Greiner; many grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two stepchildren, David and Jimmy; a sister, Joan (Willard) Hegewald; brothers, Kenny (Mary Rita) Greiner and Dudley (Judy) Greiner; and 10 nieces and nephews.
Terry was preceded in death by his wife, Stella; parents; a son, David Greiner; and brother, Rodney Greiner.
Born Nov. 27, 1935, on a farm near Keota, Terry was the son of Richard and Willus (Reed) Greiner. He owned an Exxon station in San Antonio, Texas.
Terry enjoyed traveling, visiting with people, gambling and was a hard worker.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Mercy Hospice in Terry's memory.
