Vozenilek, Elaine
Elaine Vozenilek, 89, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling St. SW, where a visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery.
Elaine was born June 3, 1924, in Cedar Rapids. She married George Vozenilek on March 15, 1955, in Cedar Rapids. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, baking, fishing, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. Elaine worked many years at Konecny Restaurant.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Elaine is survived by her children, John (Anna) Lentner and Barbara Lentner; grandchildren, Tony, Renny, Paula and Cassy (Corey) Plough; great-grandchildren, Jared, Tiffany and Cameron; siblings, Shirley Pernicka and Sid Batten; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George; aunt, Leafy; and two sisters, Marilyn and Jean Pospisil.
Memorials may be directed to the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy.
