Elaine Wilma Selk Bookmeier, 82, a resident of the Vinton Lutheran Home, passed away there Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015. Per Elaine's request, her body was cremated and private family services will be held. She will be laid to rest in Keystone Cemetery.
Elaine is survived by two sons, Ray (Barb) and Alan Bookmeier of Vinton; two grandchildren, Anita (Jason) Yessak and Kevin (Michelle) Bookmeier; and three great-grandchildren, Jordan and Marissa Yessak and Matthew Bookmeier.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wesley on Sept. 28, 2014; her mother and father-in-law, Fred and Anna Bookmeier; one sister and her husband, Maurine and Albert Arp; and one sister-in-law and her husband, Norma and Dale Grimm.
