'Coded Memory'
Gallery opening and artist's reception for Chotsani Elaine Dean's ceramic show, titled 'Coded Memory: circa 19th century, planted memory, prized seeds,' 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. April 5. Also, artist's demo and lecture, 2 to 4 p.m. April 7. Dean is an artist and assistant professor of art, ceramics at the South Carolina School of the Arts at Anderson University. Boards are available for this annual public art exhibit in the NewBo District in Cedar Rapids. Theme is 'My Animal.' Participation fee is $20 adults, $10 ages 18 and under.
