Minor train derailment blocking streets in Vinton
VINTON - A halted train is blocking several streets in Vinton, authorities say.
Highway 150 through town is clear but streets east and west of the highway along the rail line are blocked.
The train appears to have sustained a minor derailment near B Avenue South.
A crew of three or four is on the scene now. They declined to comment on details of the halted train but one of them said Highway 150 was originally blocked but the car blocking that road had been moved.
