Brenneman Jr., David
David Brenneman Jr. of Nichols died unexpectedly Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2009. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight at Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church hall in Nichols.
He is survived by his wife; three sons, (Kendall, Korby and his wife Susan and Kurtis), a stepson (Devon Griffin), and two sisters (Cherie (Russ) Howes of Nichols and Barb (Scott) Wells of Coralville). One granddaughter, Rae, also survives.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
David was born in Montgomery County, Miss., on July 25, 1963, the son of David Sr. and Lottie May Brenneman. He was joined in marriage to Mary Sue Turner on Aug. 15, 1998. David served in the Marine Corps and most recently owned and operated Brenneman Services in Nichols.
David was a lover of the outdoors, an avid fisherman and enjoyed fast cars.
