Pertzsch, Michael Eric
Michael Eric Pertzsch, 32, of Cedar Rapids, passed away at his home on Monday, June 6, 2011. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, June 10, at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories, with Pastor Tye Male officiating.
Michael was born July 31, 1978, in Cedar Rapids. He graduated from Washington High School and went on to manage several Domino Pizza stores in Iowa and Minnesota. Michael was currently a student at Kirkwood Community College, where he was studying accounting.
Michael enjoyed biking and spending time with his nephews. Michael is survived by his mother, Suzanne (Charles) Plant of Casper, Wyo.; his father, Merlin Pertzsch of Cedar Rapids; his sister, Shaun Pertzsch of Washington, D.C.; his brothers, Chuck Pertzsch (Shauna) of Grimes and Brian Pertzsch of Tucson, Ariz. Michael is also survived by three nephews, Julien Montgomery, Connor Pertzsch and Ryan Pertzsch.
