Struebing, Birdene M.
Birdene M. Struebing, 86, of Hopkinton, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009, at the Jones Regional Medical Center in Anamosa. Private family burial services will be held at a later date in Pickrell, Neb.
Birdene Mae Struebing was born Oct. 21, 1923, to Elmer and Mildred (Montgomery) Rudder in Roca, Neb. She was united in marriage with Dale Eugene Struebing on Oct. 21, 1955, in Lincoln, Neb. They attended St. John's Lutheran Church in Hopkinton.
Birdene is survived by her husband, Dale; sons, Jimmy Struebing of Payson, Ariz.; Neil (Roxie) Struebing of Beaumont, Texas, and a grandson, Cary Struebing of Marshalltown.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Evelyn O'Brien.
Cremation Society of Eastern Central Western Iowa is assisting Birdene's family.
