Morgan, Dennis Lynn
Dennis Lynn Morgan, 65, of Marion, died Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2009, of cancer. Private graveside services will take place. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Arrangements with Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his children, Greg Morgan and Denise (Dean) Grawet; two grandchildren, Derek and Devan Grawet; his brother, David (Joyce) Morgan; his former wife, Janice Reittinger; and his former mother-in-law, Viola Godfrey.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Dennis was born Oct. 2, 1943, the son of Lloyd and Emma (Stepanek) Morgan, in Iowa City, Iowa. He worked at Farmstead Foods for 23 years as a security guard.
A special thanks to the Abbe Center, Mercy Medical Center and Mercy Hospice for the excellent care given to Dennis.
He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
