Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
On Nov. 4, the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art held its annual Gala. It was a huge success and we thank everyone involved in making that happen!
The entirety of the Cedar Rapids Country Club was a hive of activity as we welcomed just over 275 supporters for good food, great music, and a wide and varied array of silent and live auction items to bid on. The results were phenomenal!
We couldn't have done any of this without the support of the community - both individuals who came to the event and our many corporate sponsors who made significant gifts to ensure the success of the event. In addition to the many companies who donated goods for our silent auction, we were fortunate to have more than 30 corporate sponsors who made cash contributions toward our fundraiser. They were joined by many individual donors who made contributions as well. The coming together of local companies and individuals to advance the cause of the arts in the Cedar Rapids area is a tradition dating back to the time of Grant Wood and it is wonderful to see it continuing to the present day.
This support will allow us to continue and to expand our educational offerings, both at the museum and out in the community. Thank you all for your help in making the fundraiser such a success and for allowing us the opportunity to provide additional and better programs to all the people of Eastern Iowa.
