Sherwood, Lois A.
Lois A. Sherwood, 89, of Belle Plaine, died Sunday, Jan. 10, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center following a sudden illness. Memorial services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, Belle Plaine, by the Rev. Pete Hagglund. Inurnment will be at a later date in Oak Hill Cemetery. Family and friends may gather in the church hall following the service.
She is survived by her daughter, Winifred (Lloyd) Schild of Chelsea; stepson, Charles (Joy) Sherwood of Eldridge; sister, Florence Grummer of Raleigh, N.C.; stepdaughter-in-law, Norma Sherwood of Belle Plaine; stepson-in-law, Terry Shedenhelm of Belle Plaine; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; also cousin, Earl Johnston of Chelsea.
