Marilyn E. Zumhof, 87, died Dec. 24, 2018, at Winslow House Care Center in Marion.
She was born May 11, 1931, in Monticello, Iowa, to Faye and Elsie (Zehr) Ellis.
Marilyn is survived by her husband, Gene; children, Juanita (Brett) Barry, Deb (Steve) Gladson, Brian (Carol) Zumhof and Connie (Todd) Ortberg; grandchildren, Katherine Barry, Ashley (Phillip) Michels, Lindsay (Ben) Blood, Matthew (Erica) Gladson, Brianna Zumhof, Michelle Zumhof and Alex Ortberg; and great-grandchildren, Austin, Joseph, Christopher, Aubrey, Hannah, Charlie, Kaelynne and Ryker.
She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Deborah Giese.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff members at Summit Pointe Senior Living, Winslow House Care Center and Compassus Hospice.
Private services are planned with burial at a later date.
