Haase, Milvoy 'Shorty'
Milvoy “Shorty” Haase, 99, of Avon Park, Fla., formerly of Brooklyn and Belle Plaine, died Saturday, Aug. 29, 2009, from complications of age. Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Hrabak Funeral Home by the Rev. Jim Campbell. Inurnment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until time of service at the funeral home.
He is survived by a daughter, Darla (Clifford) Yount of Avon Park, Fla.; sons, Donn (Marie) Haase of Ely and Dennis Haase of Phoenix; sister, Mabel Zimmerschied of Sedalia, Mo.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Gladys in 2003; four brothers, Roy, Lester, Marvin and Clarence; and a sister, Myrtle Stelling.
