Schnipkoweit, Donald F.
Donald F. Schnipkoweit, 48, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Stanwood, died Monday, Feb. 28, 2011, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Chapman Funeral Home, Clarence, with Pastor Phil Leipold officiating. Burial: Stanwood Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his mother, Deanna Schnipkoweit of Stanwood; stepmother, Barb Schnipkoweit of Hiawatha; sister, Darcie (Eric) Barman of New York; brothers, Dennis (Melody) Schnipkoweit of Olin, and Darold Schnipkoweit of California, and John (Michelle) Schnipkowiet of Cedar Rapids; stepsister, Theresa Catchpool; stepbrother, Rob (Sue) Moore; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Delmar; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Coppess and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schnipkoweit.
Donald was born Oct. 16,1962, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Delmar and Deanna Coppess Schnipkoweit.
