Dauber, Russell L.
Russell L. Dauber, 60, of Stanwood, died Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009, at his home. Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence, by Pastor Phil Leipold. Following the service his body will be cremated, with inurnment at a later date. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with a Masonic service at 8 p.m.
Survivors include his wife, Lois; son, Michael (Joyce) of Stanwood; daughter, Sara (Adam) Sandberg of Mechanicsville; stepdaughters, Laura Kramer of Walker and Robin Vorwald of Stanwood; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Richard.
Born July 20, 1949, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Lowell and Hazel (Leinen) Dauber, he married Lois Seeley on Aug. 19, 1983, at Blackriver Falls, Wis. Russ served in the Navy and had worked as a diesel mechanic at Truck Country in Cedar Rapids for over 25 years. He was a member of Freemont Masonic Lodge 616 of Stanwood and the Stanwood Volunteer Fire Department.
