Beck, Keith Alan
Funeral services for Keith Alan Beck, 56, of Mechanicsville, who died Friday, May 24, 2013, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, at Mechanicsville Methodist Church with the Rev. Barbara Krueger officiating. Visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday at Fry Funeral Home, Tipton. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Mechanicsville.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in memory of Keith.
Keith was born Jan. 27, 1957, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Robert Edward and Audrey Jane Randall Beck. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School and attended Iowa State University. He was united in marriage to Peggy Sue Weber on April 24, 1982, in Mechanicsville. Keith was a lifelong farmer who farmed the land and raised cattle, hogs and sheep. He was a competitive person who enjoyed bowling, visiting the casinos and was an avid sports fan. He was always ready and willing to help others. Keith was a family man who loved spending time with his boys.
Keith is loved and survived by his wife, Peggy Beck of Mechanicsville; mother, Audrey Beck of Tipton; sons, Eric (Katherine) Beck and future granddaughter who is expected on July 25, 2013, of Marion and Tyler Beck of Des Moines; brothers, Ron (Barb) Beck of Waukesha, Wis., Ken (Christine) Beck of Mechanicsville and Larry (Linda) Beck of Tipton; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Beck.
