Milbert "Bert" Huber, 91, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, May 16, 2016, in Mercy Medical Center.
Milbert was born Sept. 8, 1924, in Hosmer, S.D., the son of Christ and Katherine (Gab) Huber. He entered the Army, serving with the 304 Signal Operational Battalion attached to the 158 Regimental Combat Team in the Pacific Theater during World War II. He retired from Western Union after 40 years of service.
Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
