Henry Herman Fedeler Jr., 84, of rural Arlington, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on Friday, Sept. 12, 2014.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary; nine children, Ron (Roseann) Fedeler of Luana, Mark (Sheryl) Fedeler of Fayette, Theresa (Mike) Breitbach of Strawberry Point, Pat (Joe) Pierce of Rogersville, Mo., Barb (Rick Knivsland) Fedeler of Cedar Falls, John (Jackie) Fedeler of Arlington, Rose (Jeff) Johanns of Braddyville, Iowa, Joe (Carla) Fedeler of Lynchburg, Va., and Michele (Andy) Waber of Johnston; 32 grand-children; 27 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Arlington Fire Department and First Responders, Parkinson's Research and the American Cancer Society.
Visitation: 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 14, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Strawberry Point, where there will be a 2 p.m. Scripture service. Friends also may call one hour before the Mass at the church on Monday. Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 15, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, by the Very Rev. Paul Peters. Interment: St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Strawberry Point.
