Letter: Monica Vernon will make us proud

A number of years ago, my brother was a United States Congressman and Senator. I saw first hand the dedication, intellect and energy that it takes to be a member of Congress.
There's no doubt in my mind that Monica Vernon possesses those same qualities. I've known Vernon and her family for years and have admired her many successes and civic contributions. She has managed to do it all - sustain a solid marriage, raise three incredibly successful daughters, establish a grow a small business, and build a history of accomplishments within her community.
Please join me in sending Iowa's first woman to the House of Representatives. She will make us proud!
